The Penniman Foundation Pathway Program

A steady place to build your next chapter.

Transitioning into adulthood can feel overwhelming, especially when you are expected to have answers, plans, and resources you never actually got. The Penniman Foundation Pathway Program is an ongoing mentoring and support hub for young adults (ages 18–26) who want real guidance, emotional steadiness, and practical tools to move forward with confidence.

This is not a class or a course.
Pathway is a long-term relationship with a trusted adult and a small support team you can reach out to when life gets complicated.

Guidance That Meets You Where You Are

Whether you’re considering school, training, work, or a completely new direction, we’ll help you sort through options and choose the path that makes sense for your life.

Support for Navigating Adult Life

Get help with the logistics that often feel confusing or intimidating — money basics, work expectations, housing decisions, paperwork, resources, and everyday choices.

Tools for Emotional Stability

Early adulthood can be stressful, but you don’t have to figure it out alone. Learn grounding habits, build confidence, and find clarity so you can tackle challenges without feeling overwhelmed. Grounded people make clearer decisions, and that stability helps everything else fall into place.

The Stability Fund

Small financial hurdles can stop everything. Our Stability Fund offers micro-grants (usually $50–$500) for the kinds of setbacks that can derail your progress — a car repair so you can get to work, a certification application fee, work clothes for a new job, a security deposit, or an unexpected medical bill. The goal isn’t to solve every problem, but to keep one setback from becoming a crisis.

Who the Program Is For

The Pathway Program supports young adults ages 18–26 who are navigating life transitions without a steady support system. Whether you’re in school, working, between paths, or starting over, this program offers clarity and stability — without judgment.
